Heidi Tutorial- 7.3.18

In the tutorial we went over my project so far and discussed how to move forward. Heidi really enjoyed my idea of creating a surrealist photograph of the floating chair, and said that I should pursue in continuing in surrealism.  I agreed with Heidi because this type of work is work I am fascinated by and really enjoy the process of creating surrealism photography. Heidi gave me a list of photographers who are renown for surrealism.

My next step is to research these artist and create a selection of surrealist photographs, inspired from there work.

Tutorial with Tim 7.2.18

I discussed my idea with Tim and he gave me good feedback and gave me some ideas to work with and several subjects to research, which will help me get a better understanding of my work.

Here is a brief list of the subjects Tim gave me to research:

Ideas

• Black backgrounds can be seen as an infinite space
• Include probs in the fore/background to emphasise space
• Create several photographs using different parts of a portrait.

From these artists and ideas, I will begin my research before I start with my shoot. Ill do this because it will generate better ideas and understanding of how and what I want my shoot to turn out.
